Tuesday Training Focuses

RPR (Reflexive Performance Reset), Speed School, Running Mechanics

RPR techniques will be used to explore the electrical system and how it moves you. Athletes will learn how to use deep digital pressure over specific fascial tissue to enhance neuromuscular activity

Skills and drills to enhance running, improving acceleration and maximum velocities. The center of the body must be able to engage for upright posture and reduction of energy leaks. These exercises will increase midsection muscular contractions vital to increased sports performance.

Wednesday Training Focuses

Jump Stop Program, Lower Extremity Essential Strength

Foot and ankle - introduction to ankle rocker and spring ankle concepts. This will focus on foot and ankle mobility and strength

Lower extremity injuries can be reduced through the teaching and execution of proper landing techniques. This jump stop program exposes athletics to a variety of techniques well as jumping and landing environments designed to mimic sport demands. Power development from the hips and ground reaction forces will be included.

Essential strength to the lower extremity is vital to the performance of the big power house muscle groups of the lower body. These essential exercises can be done in any setting with a band and are designed to activate and strengthen the glutes, lateral slings and hips, along with the hip flexors. Exercises can be used as a stand alone strength or a warm up activation method.

Thursday Training Focuses

Visual & Vestibular Training, Agility and Change of Direction, and Upper Extremity Essential Strength

Guaranteed to be the highlight of the course and something your athletes have never done before, you won’t want to miss this training opportunity. With vision being the most relied on sense it’s the missing link to advanced sports performance. The vestibular system is responsible for where we are in space, by manipulating this system in training we can improve movement and awareness for sports. Training the visual and vestibular systems together we can greatly improve sport performance, while reducing injury.

To execute in sport one must be able to change direction both in anticipation and reaction to the game. Change of direction mechanics focusing on deceleration, first step and reaction will be rehearsed in a variety of situations.

Essential strength to the upper extremity is crucial for upper body; specifically shoulder mechanics. These essential exercises can be done in any setting with a band and are designed to activate and strengthen the shoulder, rotator cuff and muscles that affect the overhead athlete. Upper Body, back and core muscles facilitate upright posture and breathing mechanics. Exercises can be used as a stand alone strength or a warm up activation method.
